My Story
For the last 4 ½ years, I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother of 2 amazing children. Being a mother has given me a passion to help make the world the safest and best possible place for all people to live in. Having my own business has been a dream of mine for a number of years I have spent some time in children's consignment stores and was surprised to learn there was not a year round children's consignment store in Dubuque!! I started thinking that a children's and maternity consignment store would help develop some of my interests. Environmentally I would help recycle products. I could also use great customer service to help people enjoy products at fair prices. I would also have an outlet to promote some of the women and children charities I care the most about. I decided to fulfill my dreams and created Little Folks Trading Post. I have enjoyed living in Dubuque for the last 7 years and I am proud to call Dubuque my home. Dubuque and the surrounding communities are growing so quickly and there are so many parents and kids (and grandparents) out there who would enjoy the fair prices that Little Folks has to offer. I am looking forward to meeting them all, helping them save money and make money.
I would especially like to thank my husband, our families and friends for all their support and enthusiasm in my new adventure.
